Some reviewers had installed the camera in 10 minutes, but for me, it took a bit longer. The hood was quickly removed, but the mirror cap was a bit in the way. If the hood is loose, it's best to move the front part downwards because then it becomes easier to completely detach the hood. Attaching the camera to the hood was a bit tricky because you have to press the clips in place correctly. I did not use the included cap for mounting behind the mirror; the original cap fit perfectly. I haven't tried the camera while driving yet, but from experience, I know that the image is good. The car was parked on the driveway while I was at work, and I could see that the windshield was reflecting a lot in the view. Will be further tested.
